Online Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults in the UK & Europe
What if the problem was never you, but the world you were told to fit into?
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, self-identifying, questioning, processing, or just exhausted - you are welcome here.
I offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults with autism, ADHD, or AuDHD, including those unsure if these words fit.
This is a space to meet you as you are.
You might be here because you're…
Struggling with executive dysfunction, time blindness, sensory overwhelm, or swinging between hyperfocus and burnout
Navigating masking, shutdowns, or the quiet grief of feeling misread or unseen
Carrying trauma from painful relationships, family rejection, struggles in school or work, or being dismissed by health professionals
Wrestling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling like you’re always “too much” or “not enough”
Longing for rest, self-trust, or simply space where you don’t have to explain

Neurodivergent affirming therapy
My approach
As a neurodivergent therapist, I offer a space where your ND experience and identity are welcomed and met with care - not as something to fix, but as part of human diversity. I don’t see neurotypicality as the goal, but just one way of being among many.
The challenges you face often come not from your brain alone, but from navigating a world not built for you. Here, we’re not trying to erase or mask your differences; we explore what’s been shaped by survival, misunderstood, or pathologised, and what might become possible when you’re met with empathy and compassion.
You’re welcome to show up however you are: stimming, rambling, looping, pausing, going quiet, needing time to find words. I’ll help track your threads if you lose them, or gently help notice tangents if you want support finding your way back.
I offer neurodivergent therapy online and in-person, in Manchester City Centre. I work integratively - blending person-centred therapy, parts work (IFS-informed), compassion-focused, and somatic approaches. Together, we explore how survival patterns, emotions, and sensations live in your body and relationships, meeting the parts shaped by masking, trauma, or self-protection.
You don’t have to explain or translate yourself here. Whether you process through words, silence, or uncertainty, it’s all welcome.
If you’d like to read more about how I support neurodivergent adults — including those navigating autism symptoms, autistic burnout, and what AuDHD therapy looks like wiith me, you can find me on the Autistic Therapist Directory, where I also share more about how being an AuDHD therapist shapes the way I work with neurodiverse clients.
I also offer online therapy for ADHD, creating a flexible space for clients managing things like ADHD rejection sensitive dysphoria, executive function struggles, and the impact of ADHD on relationships. You can learn more about this approach through my listing on the Neurodivergent Practitioners Directory.
ADHD, Autism, AuDHD & Neurodiversity Therapy FAQs

No, you don’t need a formal ADHD or autism diagnosis to work with me. Many clients come self-identifying, questioning whether they are neurodivergent, or exploring patterns like masking, burnout, or executive dysfunction. Therapy here is based on your lived experience, not labels or paperwork. Sessions are available online across the UK or in-person in Manchester.

Many autistic women and AFAB people are diagnosed late because diagnostic criteria were historically based on male presentations. This means many people grow up masking or being misdiagnosed with anxiety, depression, or personality disorders. In therapy, we can explore the impact of late or missed diagnosis and help you make sense of your experiences.

Yes, autism and ADHD are often misdiagnosed as anxiety, depression, or borderline personality disorder. Misdiagnosis can add shame or confusion, especially if treatment doesn’t seem to help. Therapy offers a space to explore your identity without needing a formal label.
-
ADHD masking is when someone hides or overcompensates for their ADHD traits to appear “neurotypical.” This might look like over-preparing, people-pleasing, or pushing through sensory overwhelm. While masking can help in the short term, it often leads to anxiety, disconnection, and burnout. Therapy helps you notice these patterns and explore safer, more authentic ways of being.

Yes, therapy can help with ADHD and anxiety together. These conditions often overlap, with one fuelling the other. Stress from missed deadlines, sensory overload, or rejection sensitivity can trigger anxiety spirals. Therapy can support you to untangle these patterns, regulate your nervous system, and develop self-compassionate strategies that work for both ADHD and anxiety.

Yes, I offer AuDHD-affirming therapy for adults who are both autistic and ADHD. This approach considers the interplay of both neurotypes - including sensory processing, executive function challenges, and emotional regulation. Sessions are available online across the UK or face-to-face in Manchester.

There isn’t a quick fix for autistic burnout, but recovery is possible. Autistic burnout often comes from years of masking, sensory overwhelm, or pushing beyond your capacity in environments that don’t meet your needs. Getting out of it usually means stepping back, reducing demands, and rebuilding at a slower pace with more rest, sensory regulation, and support.
Therapy can help you recover from autistic burnout by creating space to understand what led to it, reduce shame, and explore sustainable ways forward. Many people find me during or after autistic burnout, as it’s often the point when they start to explore autism, seek a diagnosis, or realise they can’t keep coping in the same way. I offer support for autistic burnout online across the UK or in-person in Manchester.

You can find a neurodivergent therapist through specialist directories and networks that focus on affirming, inclusive practice. Three useful places to start are the Autistic Therapist Directory, the Neurodivergent Practitioners Directory and the National Autistic Society. These websites list therapists who identify as neurodivergent themselves or who work from a neurodivergent-affirming approach.
Alongside these, you can also look at general directories such as the Counselling Directory or BACP register, but filtering for “neurodiversity” or “autism/ADHD” is important to ensure you find someone affirming. I’m listed on both the Autistic Therapist Directory and the Neurodivergent Practitioners Directory, and I offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults online across the UK and in-person in Manchester.
