Neurodivergent‑Affirming Psychotherapy Online & In Manchester

Wrestling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling like you’re always “too much” or “not enough”
Longing for rest, self-trust, or simply space where you don’t have to explain

Neurodivergent affirming therapy
My approach
As a neurodivergent therapist, I offer a space where your ND experience and identity are welcomed and met with care - not as something to fix, but as part of human diversity. I don’t see neurotypicality as the goal, but just one way of being among many.
The challenges you face often come not from your brain alone, but from navigating a world not built for you. Here, we’re not trying to erase or mask your differences; we explore what’s been shaped by survival, misunderstood, or pathologised, and what might become possible when you’re met with empathy and compassion.
You’re welcome to show up however you are: stimming, rambling, looping, pausing, going quiet, needing time to find words. I’ll help track your threads if you lose them, or gently help notice tangents if you want support finding your way back.
I work integratively - blending person-centred therapy, parts work (IFS-informed), compassion-focused, and somatic approaches. Together, we explore how survival patterns, emotions, and sensations live in your body and relationships, meeting the parts shaped by masking, trauma, or self-protection.
You don’t have to explain or translate yourself here. Whether you process through words, silence, or uncertainty, it’s all welcome.

Diagnosis Support for ADHD, Autism, and Neurodivergence
In addition to offering neurodivergent-affirming therapy, I provide dedicated support for adults exploring ADHD or autism diagnosis, or adjusting to life after receiving one.
This is not a clinical assessment or diagnostic service - it’s a therapeutic space to explore your neurodivergence with compassion, reflect on your experiences, and begin reshaping the stories you’ve been carrying.

ADHD, Autism, AuDHD & Neurodiversity Therapy FAQs
-
No, you don’t need a formal ADHD or autism diagnosis to start therapy here. Many clients come self-identifying, questioning if they are neurodivergent, or exploring patterns like masking, burnout, or executive dysfunction. Therapy focuses on your lived experience, not labels or paperwork.
I also recognise that formal diagnosis can be expensive, inaccessible, or take years - especially for adults, LGBTQ+ folks, or people assigned female at birth. Self-diagnosis or self-identification is entirely welcome here.
If you’re unsure whether you’re neurodivergent or want more focused support, I offer pre- and post-diagnosis support packages, which are structured sessions to explore your experiences and next steps. Sessions are available online across the UK or in-person in Manchester.

Many people ask what the “best” ADHD therapy is. Common recommendations include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for emotional regulation and executive skills, or ADHD coaching for practical support.
As a trauma-aware, ADHD-affirming therapist, I often work with adults harmed by systems trying to “fix” their ADHD traits. Here, we focus on understanding your ADHD - exploring masking, burnout, emotional exhaustion, and perfectionism. I believe this kind of understanding creates space for self-compassion and, if you want, ways to manage these challenges. -
Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in human brains, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other neurodevelopmental differences. When someone says they are neurodiverse, they are recognising that their cognitive, sensory, or emotional experience may differ from neurotypical people.
